Looking for an avenue to play?

The Brantford Memorial Concert Band brings people of all ages, walks of life and playing abilities together to prepare concerts for the community. In 1961, the band began its “Sunday Serenades” and continues to do so today. The four "Sunday Serenades" are performed in February, April, October and December. During the month of June the band entertains at various senior citizen facilities in Brantford and Brant County.
Music Director, Paul Nicholson, challenges the musicians to play a wide variety of music that is sure to delight the audience!

MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA

• ability to read sheet music
• play a woodwind/brass/percussion instrument with fluency
• attend rehearsals regularly – Mondays, 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.
• be available to play the scheduled concerts
• pay a member's fee of $100 per year
